Citex Software offers software design services to high tech customers developing leading-edge technologies. Our engagement model varies based on our customers’ needs. In general, we have the ability to participate in all phases of the software life cycle: requirements analysis, architecture and design, coding, testing, and sustaining.
At Citex Software, we have gained experience with different project management
methodologies. Different customers have different communications and reporting requirements. They also frequently use different code version control
tools, different bug tracking and ticketing tools, different documentation methods, and different collaboration tools.
We are adaptable and flexible and, over the years, have gained
experience with most commercial project management tools, software process
management tools, and productivity tools.
We have two design services groups: an applications software group and an embedded software group.
Applications Software
The Applications Software Team has long working experience with the various components of multi-tier applications. We specialize in, but are not limited to, open source development. Our skill set includes:
- Linux, Sun Solaris, and Windows
- C/C++
- Java, J2ME, J2SE, J2EE, JSF, JSP, Servlets, WebServices and EJBs, Java based Frameworks like Hibernate, Log4J and JUnit, JavaMail, JDBC
- PHP
- MySQL
- Content Management Systems: Drupal
Our references include projects in the areas of mobile advertising, behavioral targeting, and collaborative design.
Embedded Communications Software
The Embedded Software Team designs, develops, and tests embedded software on real-time operating systems. Their activities include software-hardware integration and
performance optimization. The team specializes in, but is not limited to, wireless communications. They have worked with various real-time operating systems, such as VxWorks, QNX, Embedded Linux, … etc., and on different hardware platforms.
We have long experience with network protocols. In addition, we have worked on embedded control systems and building automation.
